Hello everyone!

July 4th is Independence Day! Today is the day we celebrate America's independence from England! In places all over America, people go to fairs, have bbqs, watch fireworks and some just relax with family and friends.

In my family, we always visited the fair during this time of the year and enjoyed playing fair games and eating fair food. Many of the games at these places are similiar to games in Japan.

Some of the food found here can only be bought during this time of the year, unless you can make it at home. One of my favorites are funnel cakes and fresh deep fried cheese curds.
