Recently in a class, the subject of chocolate came up and I thought of how long it's been since I've had a Reese's Peanut Butter cup. The last time I can remember having it was probably 6 years ago, when I visited my parents in America.
What is a Reese's Peanut Butter cup? Well, it's chocolate in the shape of a cupcake, but very flat. The inside of it has a scoop of peanut butter like paste. I wouldn't say it's the best tasting chocolate in the world, but it was a chocolate I grew up eating. Just thinking about them really brings back memories. I can remember a pack of it for only 50 cents. Each pack had two little "cups". They were wrapped in an orange wax paper. I can still remember the feel and sound of the crackling wax paper when I open them.
Nowadays, they are wrapped in plastic for health and sanitary reasons. I miss that wax paper.
Sometimes I can find them in Japan, but that was years ago. Does anyone know where we can find some?
