Many people have often asked me, what my race/ethnicity is. Saying what I am isn't difficult, but explaining what the HMONG are, is a long story.

To make a long story short, the Hmong people are a race of people from Southeast Asia. We have no country to call home, only the mountains in which we live in. The Hmong were an agrarian society farming the hillsides of the tropical rainforests until their involvement in the Vietnam War. After the war, from the 1970's, the Hmong immigrated to a few countries, but mostly to the USA. It is said that they relocated to all over the States, but most found their way to California, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. There, they built large Hmong communities.

And that is how the Hmong came to be in the States. Below is a video of Hmong in Wisconsin, my home state. There are some things you may find interesting in the video below! Enjoy!
