Flea markets can be great places to spend an afternoon just looking at random things for sale.
フリーマーケットは、売りに出ている適当なものを見て回って午後の時間を過ごせる素晴らしい場所です。

Because flea markets are just people selling any of their things, finding something you may want is like finding a needle in a haystack. Things there are so random sometimes. I've seen things like old board games and electronics to used clothing. Usually, there are vendors who sell quilts or knitted things, other people sell homemade accessories and what not. There can be some very interesting and unusual things.
フリーマーケットではどんなものでも売っているので、ほしいものを見つけだすことは、干し草の中から針を一本探すようなものです。（探し出すのは至難の業です）そこにあるのは、適当なものが多いです。古いボードゲームや電子機器、古着まで見たことがあります。
ふつうは、キルトやニットものを売る人、お手製のアクセサリーなどを売る人がいます。とてもおもしろいものや珍しいものもあります。

But most people are just selling their junk. But you know what they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure. Sometimes if you're lucky you can find real gems for a great bargain.
ほとんどの人はがらくたを売っています。でも、よく言われるように、ある人にとってのごみは、別の人にとっては宝ものです。運が良ければ、お値打ち価格で本当の宝ものがみつかるかもしれません。

More often than not you don't buy anything, but it's just nice to get out for a walk and enjoy some fresh air.
たいていの場合、何も買わないかもしれませんが、ぶらりと散歩に出かけて新鮮な空気を吸うのもいいですね。
