In the states, August is a month where people can enjoy camping, barbecuing and fairs, but it's also the month where students prep for the new school year. Going back to school means shopping, a lot of it.

Generally back to school sales are run during this time of the year. You can get great deals on items for school or the office and apparel. Some of the prices are unbelievable. You can buy crayons for pennies compared to the normal pricing and clothing is unrealistically cheap.
