ピアス sounds like the word "pierce" which means to force a sharp object into something. In America, we call ピアス, earrings. Earrings include both clip-on earrings and pierced earrings. Earrings are considered pierced earrings and so we do not need to say it to get our point across. On the other hand, clip-on earrings are clip-on earrings.
In both British English and American English, トレーナー could be misunderstood as the shoes for a particular sport or the person who is a trainer. In English, we would call a トレーナー, a sweatshirt.
After some brief research, I believe ワイシャツ means white work shirt. Most people who don't understand Japan or its culture will most likely think it is just a white shirt. In English, we would just call it a business shirt.
4.
パンツ → underwear
This word gives many English speakers a problem. In English, when we refer to pants, we are talking about ズボン, but it is often misunderstood by children as underwear.
A マフラー, in America, is actually part of a car where the exhaust fumes come out. We call it a scarf, but in England a マフラー is both a car part and a garment you wear around your neck.
スリッパ is slippers, but some people do wear slippers when they go to grab the newspaper outside even though they are considered for indoor use.
A パーカー sounds like parka, which is a warm winter coat that is often complimented with a hood that has fur laced around the hood. In America, a hooded sweatshirt is a パーカー.
In England, a ジャンパー is a jumper, but in the USA, a ジャンパー is called a jacket. Depending on where you live, the word is different.
According to research, many of the things you use to keep hair in place are called headbands where as things that are used to tie up hair are called hairbands. Of course hairpins are not included in these two.
