Just recently, as I was very lucky and came across a spectacular view. I was on the way to some early morning fishing in the mountains. I stopped at a tourist area for some water for the portable live well.

It was early morning and I was high up in the mountains. There were mountains in the background offset by some fog from the morning rain and above that mist of fog was half of a rainbow made barely visible from the just rising sun.

It wasn't the brightest, most pronounced rainbow, but it was the first rainbow I had seen in many years.

The photo I took doesn't do it justice, but looking at the view reminded me to take a minute and step back from everything and just enjoy it.
