I'm finally back after a long home vacation. Hahaha! For those of you who didn't know, I got covid, well my entire family did. It first started with my son, then it spread to my wife, thirdly my daughter and lastly me.

My children had a fever of 38-39 degrees Celsius and had me worried, but their fever went away in less than 48 hours. After the first 24 hours they were feeling energetic and normal, even though they still had a fever. By the third day, they were back to normal.

On the other hand, my wife and I had it a little worse. Our fevers lasted about two days as well, but our bodies ached on second and third days. It was tough to get things done around the house, but thankfully we didn't get sick at the same time. So while one parent was sick, the other was doing the housework and caring for the children. When the other parent became sick, the first parent that was sick was already recovering.

Because we were all infected and couldn't leave the house, we spent a lot of time together. We played board games and did reading time and even planted some vegetable seeds in the garden. It wasn't the vacation, I had planned but we made the most of the time we all spent together at home.

Overall, I would say it was like a severe cold or a light flu. I am somewhat glad that I got it and that it wasn't very bad, but I would have preferred to have not gotten it at all. We still have to be careful because we can still be infected again.
